Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way? One day that I got home at 8 pm from soccer practice with 3 hungry boys trying to figure out what to make for dinner I said if I can’t find this sauce, I am going to create it” So I did, so Driana Foods was born and our goal to bring people back to the kitchen, when you cook your meals you will have better health and well being. A well-prepared dish takes time you have to chop onions, garlic, peppers, deglaze, caramelize, it takes time and creativity. The one thing one thing I did not want to give up was, cooking healthy from scratch meals for my family. So I would always dream “if there was a sauce or paste that I could add to what I am cooking that was like a” flavor bomb” it would save me so much time. The busier I got at work and the kids activities, the less time I had to cook for my family. Later I was an adjunct instructor teaching the unit of Spain to the culinary students. After I graduated, I proposed my school a pilot class teaching paella and tapas and in many of my classes, I would bring a flamenco dancer and people loved it. ![]() I decided to go to culinary school in Boulder Colorado where I was living at the time. I had no idea what my passion was, but I knew that every time I cooked I was at ease, how we say “a gusto”. I went to school for speech pathology and worked in that field for a few years but it was not my passion. I’m Adriana and I decided to become a chef almost 10 years ago.
